The Role:

An opportunity has arisen to join our committed Member Services team in Brisbane where the key priority is to respond to membership queries.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Responding to membership queries (eg. phone, email)
  • Clearly communicating membership benefits and services
  • Comprehensive understanding of MIPS' products, benefits and process
  • Data entry and processing of forms
  • Maintain accurate and timely records
  • Adhere to process guidelines and compliance requirements
  • Deliver excellence in customer service and exceed member expectations
  • Provide support and assistance within the team as required

General requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in an insurance/finance services customer service field
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience in a call centre or other customer service role will be highly regarded

Desired Skills:

  • Ability to effectively respond to membership querie
  • Well spoken with good communication and pronunciation
  • Ability to work and collaborate well within a team
  • Ability to adhere to process and guidelines
  • Accurate data entry, strong attention to detail
  • Strong PC skills (including MS office)
  • A team player working as part of a diverse, multi-functional team
  • Desire to learn and adapt to change
  • Positive and proactive approach to challenges

To fulfil this role you will need to be a results driven individual with strong written/verbal skills that has a passion for customer service. You will need to possess personable skills to enable you to communicate with a variety of professionals and work collaboratively with the MIPS team.

A good understating of insurance/financial services and the healthcare sector would be well regarded.
