Your new role
As the Customer Service Interactions Team Leader you will manage Ausgrid's Claims, Recoveries and Customer Relations teams. You will lead a team of 10 staff to success through driving the delivery of optimal customer service outcomes.You will oversee and manage the pursuit of claims, complaints, customer relations, and third party damages, in order to strengthen or substantiate the company's position. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders is a key facet of this role and you will appear in person and act as Ausgrid’s advocate in various forums.

About you
Diploma level qualifications in either Claims Management, Communications, Debt Recovery, Law or alternative dispute resolution. Demonstrated experience in customer service, claims, debt recovery, and customer relations, you will utilise your skill set with proven analytical ability, problem solving, information gathering, and decision making in the area of customer negotiation, complaints and queries. You have excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, are able to maintain professional and courteous demeanor, with a proven ability to work as part of a team and autonomously. Ideally you have an insurance/claims background and have the ability to review and analyse trends/systemic issues.
