About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and success driven person to work within an energetic and innovative sales team.  The role will require a key ability to both facilitate new enquiries and the service of existing customers whilst being dually focused on obtaining a sale within both realms. This dynamic role will see you being a primary contact source for inbound sales and enquiries whilst ensuring the key development and maintenance of relationships with current and prospective customers is always paramount by the ability to provide exceptional customer service. 
  
  
Key responsibilities will include:
  • Facilitate and service inbound product orders / customer enquiries over the phone whilst establishing and maintaining both current client and potential relationships with a constant sales approach.
  • Provide exceptional professional customer service through responding to inbound calls, emails, website enquiries and website live chat.
  • Provide a timely response to requests for quotations and process sales orders efficiently using correct product literature and pricing.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and requirements.
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
  • Identify and resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
  • Utilise personally assigned territory campaigns and other type telemarketing engagement to increase sales and marketing success.
  • Utilise CRM system to ensure that tasks are managed and completed in a timely manner and activities are recorded accurately.
  
Additional Responsibilities where applicable:
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily time sheets and weekly call reports
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc. where required.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through sales activity to appropriate company staff.
  
To be successful for this role you must have the following:
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to identify and resolve client concerns.
  • Background in construction, facility maintenance or in an industrial type working environment HIGHLY PREFERRED.
  • Proactive and self-driven coupled with an ability to adapt to different customers and their requirements.
  • Be highly motivated and have a “Go Getter” attitude along with a willingness to learn and be coached accordingly.
  • A needs based and a consultative selling approach to prospects / clients and the ability to work collaboratively with others as well as work autonomously to achieve your goals.
  • An inbuilt passion to want to take initiative and “go above and beyond” when facilitating clients.
  • Successfully drive strategic growth and have the ability to obtain high sales growth outcomes.
  • The ability to drive customer engagement and acceptance.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to meet critical deadlines.
  • A commitment to best practice and continuous improvement.
