About the role

As a Customer Service Officer you will be required to provide superior customer service while handling customer enquiries in accordance with agreed procedures and service standards in the Service Delivery Team. You will be responsible for leading and working as part of a team ensuring that all service levels, standards and deadlines are met. You will be required to achieve specified individual and team performance targets relating to processing and telephony and contribute to the maximisation of premium retention within the business.

Key tasks will include:

  • Insurance policy maintenance processing
  • Handling refund requests
  • Handling customer complaint calls and escalating when required
  • Ensure individual and team service level targets are met

 

About you

The successful person will be able to provide exceptional customer service delivery skills in a call centre environment.

You will be able to demonstrate previous experience in handling difficult conversations and maintaining a customer centric focus and a willingness to work together as part of a team to ensure service levels, customer service standards and deadlines are met. Along with this you will possess

  • Previous experience in a call centre environment
  • Strong verbal communication
  • A helpful and friendly disposition and a willingness to work as part of a team
  • A keen enthusiasm to meet and exceed service delivery targets
  • Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Accurate typing and data entry skills
