An exciting opportunity for a Team Manager to join a successful team, you’ll play an integral role and be part of a team that enjoy’s exceeding targets.

The Team Manager is expected to manage the performance of the National Service Centre, drive internal sales and develop processes and procedures to ensure effective and efficient delivery to our clients, whilst achieving internal KPIs and financial objectives. The Team Manager is expected to conceptualise and workshop new initiatives with a view to drive continuous operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively influence and manage team performance through a focus on leading people, provide direct support to team through acting as a point of escalation, providing coaching, 1:1’s and performance feedback and reviews, and where necessary performance development plans.
  • Work with the sales team to identify leads to be passed over to the state leaders to leverage each and every opportunity for Salmat
  • Drive outbound call activity with customer service staff to existing, lapsed and new customers in an effort to generate new business
  • Attend required meetings with internal and external departments to provide updates, customer insights and feedback

Key Criteria

  • Experience managing and motivating sales teams
  • Experience in Contact Centre operations including technology and reporting
  • Previous experience in Team Leader / Manager role desirable
  • Provide leadership & support for direct reports, appraise their performance (If applicable)
    Ensure team & individual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met (if applicable)
