Our client is a well-known and respected member owned banking organisation that has a focus on putting its members first. With this in mind, HOBAN is looking for a self-starter for a 3 month call centre position based within the Brisbane CBD. This position calls for someone who is customer service driven and has a professional attitude.

What kind of responsibilities will I have?

  • Answering member enquiries via phone, email or social media
  • Resolving member complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Undertaking transactional processing duties
  • Identifying members’ needs and recognising opportunities to sell products
  • Providing administrative support when necessary
  • Completing risk and compliance tasks where necessary

What kind of experience and skills are you looking for?

HOBAN is ideally looking for a professional individual with previous experience within the banking/finance or insurance industry. With this in mind, you will have:

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong professional drive
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • Ability to build positive relationships within members / stakeholders
  • Be positive, punctual and hardworking and also have a bit of fun along the way!
  • Intermediate computer literacy (particularly Microsoft Office)
  • Strong customer service skills and prior demonstrated experience within a service setting (inbound)
