We are currently recruiting for a Service Desk Consultant and are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated candidate who brings well developed experience in a customer service and service desk related fields.

You will be focussed upon excellent outcomes for our customers and have the customer at the centre of all decisions.

The role requires versatility, flexibility and resilience. We need a hard working individual with a professional phone manner, a can-do attitude and the ability to politely manage conflict situations.

You will be required to have outstanding communication skills, accepting calls from both internal and external customers as well as attempt to resolve matters using the tools and procedures available.

Your main duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Contributing to a supportive and collaborative team environment focussed upon delivery of a premium level of service to Customers
  • Provide Customer training and User Support as required
  • You will have good analytical skills and the self-motivation and drive to take ownership of an issue and deliver the best outcome for the business and our customers.
  • Identify service improvements to operational effectiveness and assist with the implementation of service improvements including creation or update of knowledge material, coaching of staff and/or research and investigation.
  • Prepare, organise and present material for reports
  • Actively contribute to the promotion of a high performance culture

Your experience will include:

  • Experience in a Service Desk environment or undergone study within the IT space
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High level of problem solving skills
  • Capability to investigate, analyse and advise customers as to their needs
  • Experience in managing issues from End to End
  • Demonstrated ability to assimilate to new technology, procedures and products
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to change.
