Position Summary:

The Deployment Specialist will be required for a 12 month fixed term contract. The Deployment Specialist is responsible for working under the direction of the Contract Manager, Deployment to achieve desired results on client programs and projects in each region by selecting and optimising resources for projects, managing the flow on effect as data changes occur and successfully tracking projects to completion.

What you’ll be doing:

• Analyse and track progress of orders issued by Telstra to Tandem on a daily basis.
• Review orders for completeness and accuracy prior to issuing to staff.
• Key contact person for workflow with internal and external clients.
• Develop and maintain the schedule of work for workflow in the region.
• Monitor Scheduled Completion dates to ensure targets are met, or advise Telstra in advance if dates are at risk so corrective action can be taken, or agree revised scheduled completion dates.
• Monitor orders that may be escalated (as advised by Telstra) and ensure contractors are advised of escalations and revised dates as soon as practical and advise Telstra.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships across Tandem, suppliers and clients.

What we're looking for:

• Demonstrated experience in managing construction projects to achieve operational KPIs.
• Specialist knowledge of Access Network and associated Network Services and related Works Procedures.
• Understanding and experience of procedural requirements in terms of a carrier’s customer service delivery framework and commitments.
• Ability to analyse statistical information on Work Schedule performance.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated commitment, responsiveness and compliance to corporate policies for Occupational Health & Safety, Protection of the Environment, Quality System, Equal Employment Opportunities and other Human Resource policies.
• Ability to constructively negotiate and resolve customer grievances or escalate accordingly.
