Customer Service Call Agent: 6 month Fixed Term Contract

Independent Hardware Group is seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the role of Customer Service Call Agent.

About the role

Reporting to the Customer Service Centre Supervisor, this role will see you as the first point of contact for the business. Providing retailers with support services utilising the relevant company systems and expertise, building trust and providing customer service excellence to ensure the customer enjoys their experience.  This role is a 6 month fixed term contract.

What you will do

  • Receiving inbound and making outbound calls to our internal and external customers 
  • Logging of all calls within designated system
  • Minimise escalated calls
  • Respond to emails within the stated service level in a professional manner
  • Efficient handling of service requests and communication with internal business units
  • Ability to navigate through multiple computer systems  
  • Required to work within a rotating roster

What you will bring

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in leaning and accessing multiple systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
  • Excellent keyboard skills
  • Intermediate level of competency in all MS Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong communications skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Positive and professional manner
  • Proven ability to work to KPI’s
