They are seeking They are seeking a highly capable individual for the role of Trade Counter Sales Manager to join their Clayton based team.

Role
This is a team focussed, hands-on role with responsibility for leading by example, the trade-counter sales team as well as business development and related customer service issues. Key tasks include:
  • Quotations
  • Management of the front counter team
  • Making and processing counter sales
  • Making customer sales calls and new business development calls
  • Providing product advice
  • Managing gross margins
  • Customer service follow-up
Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a track record of experience in the supply chain side of the construction industry, preferably with solid exposure to the plasterboard industry. You could have a qualified Trade background, or alternatively be well experienced in trade sales to builders/construction companies.

Currently you might be managing a trade sales/customer service team but be keen to take the next step to a position where you are a player in a rapidly expanding market.

Success in your career to date will have been achieved through an unrelenting focus on customer service. This approach coupled with an outgoing, engaging and persuasive personality enables you to not only identify customers’ needs, but also to maximise the sale through an understanding of all the issues impacting on their requirements
