This role will be responsible for the management of  customer orders, from order acceptance through to transport and delivery as well as cross selling or up selling products when appropriate. Being the primary point of contact for customers requiring assistance with their orders, you will be expected to provide exceptional customer service to ensure that the customers have a positive experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Respond to customer order enquiries in a timely manner
• Manage order progress including accurately entering customer orders into the system and communicating order status, production and delivery times to customers
• Organise deliveries through freight providers
• Maintain customer and supplier database
• Prepare quotations and price lists as required
• Build rapport with customers and provide exceptional customer service at all points of contact with the customer

 To be considered for this role you will require the following:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a Customer Service/ Internal sales position, preferably from the Construction, Steel, Building Supplies or Transport and Logistics industries or similar
• Ability to build effective customer relationships and understand customer needs
• Ability to sell and upsell company products
• Strong administration skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• A "Can do" and positive attitude
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
