The Event Production Manager directs, provides training, and supports the Communication Operation System for our customer base.  They facilitate high level professional event programs, conduct advanced record sessions, and provide advanced consulting and program management services. The Event Production Manager is key to successful Fortune 100, 500 and 1,000 event calls, especially when a web component is utilised. They are the professional liaison between the client, sales, and all delivery departments within the company.

 

Responsibilities include:

Event Production, Consultation & Customer Focus

  • Drive for perfected results to coordinate, lead, direct, train, support, schedule, and administer clients’ high level events as they pertain to the company’s communication operation system
  • Up-sell appropriate products
  • Liaise with internal departments and vendors as necessary to maintain communication and complete requirements of events
  • Consult and manage varying services and ancillary support such as: engineering, broadcast services, streaming media, video, development, bitrate and creative recommendations
  • Work with clients as well as Reservations and Audio Production departments to complete professional pre-records for playback into client events
  • Track and enter all client billing for services rendered into system

Communication

  • Utilise strong communication, presentation and time management skills to handle internal and external client expectations relative to products, service availability, and problem solving while maintaining composure and confidentiality
  • Successfully deal with ambiguity

Administration

  • Manage team and individual calendars, verify no conflicts exist, ask for team assistance as necessary, and keep team informed of availability
  • Track all time spent on the job and add to appropriate time entry breakdowns for month end reporting
  • Handle client billing
  • Handle issues with equipment directly with appropriate department or vendor to assure functionality is maintained

Product Knowledge/Training/Technical Learning

  • Maintain subject matter expertise with all web products, levels of audio conferencing including delivery and support process flows, integration with other products, and alternatives to delivery
  • Develop and distribute any changes in departmental process or protocols
  • Participate in all forms of training including resource centers of vendors to find answers to questions and internal company courses

 

Qualifications and experience

  • 5 years of customer service, business, technical, or sales experience
  • Experience within the IT&T, and/ or Telecommunications industry
  • High school certificate or equivalent
