Our client is a well-established community care service provider. The Home Care Team Leader will lead the rostering team in the allocation of direct care workers to deliver services into client’s homes and into the community.
We are seeking a candidate with knowledge and experience in workforce management of a remote team of workers. You will be person with a strong customer focus who seeks continual improvement. You will work with other internal stakeholders to forecast, plan and recruit skilled direct care workers who deliver great customer service allowing the business to grow and thrive. The Home Care Team will be responsible for identifying, developing implementing tracking and maintaining competency-based training program to ensure staff are equipped to deliver services in the community. In conjunction with People and Culture you will ensure departmental adherence to all human resource standards set for the business (statutory, legislative, quality and organisational) are met.
You will be guided by the organisational values which include promoting diversity, supporting the independence and capability of clients and their families, respect and decency in society, and high principles and ethical conduct.
Manager Profile:
- Workforce management within a human service setting
- Desirable - Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Health Management
- Desirable - Workplace Training and Assessment qualifications
- Excellent leadership skills
- Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office and client management data bases
- Experience in commercial health sector
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills
- Proactive in caring for the health and safety of all in the workplace
