About the role

 

The Role

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious sales/appointment setter to join our team based in Melbourne.

The candidate will ideally have previous outbound appointment setting or sales experience. Our team provides adequate internal training and have produced some of the best appointment setters.   The candidate should have a personal drive to meet targets and manage time effectively. The aim of this role is to be the first point of contact we have with a potential client and educate them in our services and arranging an appointment with those who are eligible for our assistance.

Taking personal responsibility for your time and growth in this team will see you go far in this role and for future promotions, as well as having a friendly conversational manner, while on the phone and in the office. 

Managing your tasks and time effectively, and meeting targets is essential.

 

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Outbound sales calls to new & existing clients
  • Providing clients with accurate & detailed product information        
  • Setting up appointments from our data for our specialised consultants. 
  • Build positive connections during calls
  • Sales and other office administration
  • Input appropriate data for new and existing clients
  • Work with a dialler system 
  • Achieve sales targets

 

To excel in this role, you will need to :

  • Have a positive mindset
  • Be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Identify quality leads vs poor leads
  • Have strong objection handling skills
  • Have high levels of self motivation
  • Be able to accurately pass on messages in-house
  • Must speak fluent English
  • MUST Be based in Melbourne

 

Skills and experience

  • Prefer to have previous appointment setting / marketing experience or outbound experience.

Remuneration

Remuneration is by way of an hourly rate plus super and generous commission and bonuses. Generally $80,000 OTE + super.

 

Hours of work:

1:00pm - 7:00pm Monday to Thursday

11:00pm - 5:00pm Friday

(Note: Hours can be increased dependent on performance)
