A great opportunity for a professional and motivated specialist to join our Network Services team as a Customer Liaison Specialist for our Private Assets area.

About the role

The Customer Liaison Specialist – Private Assets is responsible for managing and implementing the private asset customer interface and associated processes. This will consist of conducting research and analysis and liaising with relevant business units to identify, design and develop innovative solutions to improve business processes and systems that support the end to end customer interface processes for private defect management.

The role is accountable for delivering communications to customers advising of private asset classification, defect management requirements and customer responsibilities in rectifying private defects, as well as resolving associated complaints and disputes including the coordination of hardship arrangements.

As a Customer Liaison Specialist, you will also assist the Customer Service Branch with delivery of efficient customer service and effective management of Customer, Retailer and Key Stakeholder relationships.

About your Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role (e.g. working as a customer liaison specialist in a customer advisory, complaints and dispute resolution role or other direct customer negotiation and interface capacity)
  • Proven success in managing complex customer interactions, complaints resolution and problem solving
  • Experience in data compilation, coordinating communications materials and logistics and managing multiple priorities

About your Skills

  • Specialist communication, interpersonal, customer insight and dispute resolution skills (including ability to listen attentively, identify customer knowledge gaps and issues and respond patiently, proactively and effectively)
  • Ability to establish and manage effective relationships with all stakeholders and provide specialist communications advice to influence, negotiate and achieve balanced, positive outcomes
  • Strong, flexible problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to apply judgement and use initiative within delegated limits
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion to ensure sensitive matters are handled with diplomacy and respect
  • Sound time management techniques and organisational skills with the ability to meet business targets, perform under pressure and manage a complex and varied workload

To be considered for this role, ideally you will have a Certificate IV in Customer Engagement or similar.
