• 6 month contract
• North Sydney Location
• $550 per day inclusive of Superannuation.

Our client is a global consulting organisation who is seeking a Consultant in their Risk Advisory team to help make an impact by executing best practices, assisting top tier Banking and Financial Services clients with the delivery of multidisciplinary risk management, assurance and regulatory engagements.

You will need to perform process walk through to understand the operational risk, compliance profile, and controls of the client. You will then be required perform controls testing and suggest suitable remediation plans. As part of this, you will engage with business stakeholders and deliver artifacts in risk and compliance tools.

Key accountabilities:

• Work as a member of risk advisory fieldwork teams, providing effective delivery of engagements encompassing operational risk, compliance, regulatory and governance frameworks and processes
• Ensure client service delivery in accordance with the defined methodologies with high quality of deliverable.

Selection Criteria: 

• Relevant experience within governance, risk, assurance and/or regulatory compliance space, in either the professional services or consulting environment
• Demonstrated experience in: 
  • Risk profile and compliance plan assessment 
  • Risk reporting 
  • Control Documentation 
  • Controls Testing
• Previous experience within Banking Financial Services or regulatory background is highly desirable, but not essential.

On offer is a 6 month contract with a strong possibility for extension at a Global consulting organisation.
