Business Development Manager, VIC & WA

The manager launched their retail business in Australia in 2010.  With strong product ratings and a desire to capitalise on market sentiment, we are looking for a business development executive to continue to grow the firms market presence in the VIC and Western Australian adviser market.  This role will be specifically adviser facing.
Role Purpose:
The role of the BDM is to build relationships with financial intermediaries in order to grow the funds under management of the firm. This involves managing assigned panel, communicating key messages to the adviser community and representing the brand in a proficient and enterprising manner.
Skills / Experience:

• Knowledge of financial markets and products, including social security, tax and superannuation rules;
• Knowledge of dealers and advisers in target market;
• Knowledge of products used by advisers;
• Sales experience – Business Development roles (2-3+years);
• RG146 compliance;
• Public speaking experience;
• Existing network of advisor contacts;
• Experience in platform or funds management environment;
• Drivers licence and own car a must.
