The Compliance Manager is expected to keep abreast of new and evolving compliance legislation and ensure the business meets its obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing advice on compliance issues to the business
Monitor, test and report on the frameworks
Investigate any compliance breaches and incidents
An integral part of the role is to make improvements to the compliance frameworks
Develop, review and maintenance of compliance standards and policies
Compliance training, the review of business unit processes and compliance plans
Liaison with regulators (ASX, ASIC, APRA)
Ownership of compliance reporting
Responsible Entity and Prudential Standards requirements

Key Criteria:

Educated to a degree level in a legal and business field
Experience within the Financial Services sector
Strong working knowledge of all relevant compliance regulations
Ability to critically evaluate business processes
Experience of dealing with regulators
Professionally presented with excellent communication skills
Able to engage at a senior level as well as be hands on
