Our client is a rapidly growing ASX Listed organisation. The company is based in Sydney and is offering an opportunity, supporting a dynamic and entrepreneurial division of the business.Our client has made several acquisitions over the last few years and with this growth they are looking to further establish their risk management function.This a newly created role.
The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Risk, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing, embedding and ongoing enhancement of the Risk Framework
- Day to day educating the business on the value of risk management
- Assisting in board reporting
- Workshops
- Assisting in the implementation and enhancement of the Business Continuity Management
- BAU risk management activities
The Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 3 years’ Risk, Compliance or Assurance experience within Financial Services
- Exposure to Risk Advisory and Risk Framework
- Commercial, pragmatic and persuasive
- Agile thinker - ability to think on your feet in a fast paced environment
- Ability to communicate confidently with multiple stakeholders
Your success will be based on the strength of your relationships with the business. You will be challenged to use your commerciality, pragmatism and communication skills to guide the business in valuing and developing a 'fit for purpose' risk management framework.
