Detail information about job Senior Analyst Workforce Planning. Terms and conditions vacancy

We are Medibank – an integrated healthcare company providing private health insurance and health solutions to 3.7 million Australians.

At Medibank we stand for better health for better lives.

About Us

We're passionate about nurturing careers.

We support new innovation and thinking, and openly collaborate and share new ideas. We're healthy and active in our lives and wellbeing is encouraged at every level.  Our people play an important role in the future of health and healthcare and we believe that working together, we're stronger.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Analyst Workforce Planning, you will partner with a wide span of internal business stakeholders to support the conception and execution of corporate strategy, inform operational decision-making and support the continuous improvement of service delivery models. You will source, process, analyse and interpret Workforce Planning (WFP) data sets from multiple sources across workload and workforce dimensions. You will manage the workforce planning system and provide analytical insights through reporting on key metrics, discovering operational efficiencies and completing real time desk duties. You will be the subject matter expert when it comes to the software that is used to plan operations.

Sitting outside of our traditional Private Health Insurance business, this role supports a portfolio that is truly innovative and cutting-edge. With a unique remit and a portfolio incorporating a clinical, remote workforce that delivers a broad range of health and counselling services across a 24 x 7 schedule, you will work beyond the typical contact centre, touching all types of workforces.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Reporting, using Excel, VB, Access, SQL, Tableau, R & other databases, data mining and data visualisation tools to build a range of operational performance and productivity tools across all levels.
  • Analytics, providing insights and recommendations, decision support and strategy guidance using data from internal and external sources.
  • Project Management, employing the usual disciplines and conventions to manage and co-ordinate delivery of project outcomes and milestones on time and within budget.
  • Process engineering and continuous improvement.
  • Vendor Management, effectively holding vendors accountable.
  • Acting as the Aspect Suite Expert and Master Builder, managing complex configurations, ongoing changes and additional builds.
  • Tender modelling with a small margin of error, gaining the confidence of cross-functional stakeholders.

About You

In order to be successful in this role, you will have a background in statistical analysis, previous experience in a Workforce Planning environment and have strong expertise in producing reports and analytics. Your commercial acumen will be strong, and you will be finance savvy, understanding the unique fiscal imposts and implications to funding arrangements and models.

You will have the ability to communicate and influence stakeholders and you will have a proactive ‘can-do’ attitude applied with enthusiasm and motivation. Your relationship management skills will be sophisticated, and you will have experience working within a matrix structure and in client facing roles. Making presentations to senior stakeholders will be an area of strength.

Your technical strength will be clear – and you will be an Aspect suite expert/master builder (WFM, RTA, Empower); fluent in MS Project, Mindjet, Visio and Lean and Six Sigma.

You will have proven personal accountability for consistent and proactive standards of excellence. You will have prioritisation and time management skills. You will have proven ability and initiative to proactively drive change. You must display a high level of integrity, business standards and confidentiality at all times.
