The employer is a retail banking/financial services provider in a niche market offering competitive retail banking and mortgage products. Multiple award winning employer for their ethical culture and employee development program.
As part of their growth strategy they are ramping up their Business Development Team and looking for an experienced Mobile Lender in Melbourne.
Your main purpose is to promote the Bank to its customer audience as a preferred supplier of personal banking services within the niche target market by -
- Building effective relationships.
- Generating leads and sell mortgage products to existing and potential members
- Cross-sell retail banking products and services like Term Deposits, Insurance and Financial Planning.
In this role you will be expected to -
- To initiate, develop and drive new business relationships
- Take accountability for individual sales pipeline.
- Actively cross sell all Products and Services.
- Achieve monthly mortgage sales targets
- Leverage a multi-channel approach for Lead generation opportunities
- Provide Quality Partner Referrals.
- Work with Business Development Officer to generate leads
To be successful in this role you will have -
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Mobile Lender/Mortgage Broker/ Home Loans Specialist with a banking institution.
- Strong mortgage sales track record
- Through understanding of end to end mortgage processing
- Ability to read financials and construct/package loans
- Qualifications in mortgage broking highly desirable
- Tier 2/Cert IV in Financial Services essential
