With a background of working in wealth management  or investment banking your experience will see you hit the ground running. You will join an established team and report to the Intermediary Services Manager.

In this role you will be responsible for trade settlements, bonds, corporate actions, reconciliation, payments, stock transfers and portfolio administration. 

Your Core Responsibilities 

  • Domestic / International Bond Management - process and settle all domestic and international Bond trades.
  • International Trade Settlement - process and settle all International equities.
  • Portfolio Administration - the recording and management of international client data.
  • International Payments - process international payment requests.
  • Corporate Actions - responsible for all international corporate actions.
  • Reconciliations - daily cash and holding reconciliation.
  • Transitions - manage on boarding requests, internal transfers and transfers off platform for international equities & all domestic and international bonds.
  • Client Service- establish positive relationships with clients, including traders, advisers, desk assistants and all areas of operations

Our Selection Criteria

  • Experience in Operations within Investments, Custody or a Wrap Platform will be highly regarded.
  • Demonstrate full competence and a strong knowledge of domestic and international Bond settlement.
  • Financial reporting experience, preferably involving investment securities in a financial institution or other like industry, a plus
  • Demonstate competence in understanding corporate cctions and market risk.
  • Ability to quickly adopt new technology platforms; knowledge of Praemium is helpful, but not required
  • Demonstrated analytical ability and good judgment, problem solver, takes responsibility, demonstrates personal integrity, honesty and understands the importance of confidentiality of customer and company information
  • Strong mathematical and accounting skills
  • A self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, positive professional attitude and demeanour with a ‘Can Do Attitude’
  • Excellent time management and strong organizational skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and anticipate potential problems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel,). Advanced Excel skills a plus.
