Talenza are seeking two experienced Data Analysts for permanent positions with a leading Australian Bank based here in Sydney.

In this role you will be responsible for the end to end development and analysis of various campaigns by working closely with Marketing and Product Managers throughout the business. You will deliver campaigns using campaign management systems; and make continuous improvements based on customer insights derived from campaign analysis.

Your responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to provide data driven insights to optimise marketing campaigns
• Work in cross functional teams to determine the most appropriate target customers and convert this into customer selection rules
• Develop pre-campaign analysis
• Conduct adhoc analysis projects as required
• Prepare documentation for all client and analysis projects, to ensure any review and/or reproduce analysis
• Develop and present new options or opportunities to leverage data through the data analytics platform
• Consistently seek improvement of process and analysis through collaboration and team work

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics
• Experience working with Large scale RBDMS (Oracle/Teradata )
• MUST have strong ability SQL development and analysis experience, SAS will be highly regarded
• Desired Experience in Financial Services or Banking
• Experience working with Campaign Management Software such as Teradata RO/CM
• Microsoft Applications proficiency
• Statistical analysis skills skills desirable
• Business Knowledge of Marketing procedures including marketing and data briefs will be highly regarded
