About the Opportunity
We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner to join us to support our Financial Planning team in the production of advice documents. This role is central to the achievement of our member service standards and revenue objectives as part of our wider Member Advice Team.

Within the role you will:
  • Produce advice documents for our members to support our Financial Planners
  • Assist in the development of financial strategies for our members in conjunction with Financial Planners
  • Work with Financial Planners, members and other third parties to collect the information necessary to produce statements of advice (SOA); and,
  • Work to ensure that all documents and processes satisfy strict compliance standards.  
What we're looking for
Ideally you will strong depth of experience working as a Paraplanner.  You will be comfortable preparing advice documentation and applying critical thinking when it comes to strategy recommendation.  You will be:
  • An experienced Paraplanner with sound technical skills and a strong understanding of superannuation;
  • A highly organised individual with a passion for delivering high quality SOA's;
  • Someone with well-developed interpersonal skills, including a sound ability to develop relationship;
  • An excellent communicator, with attention to detail in both written and verbal communication;
  • Someone wanting to put their amazing support skills to good use and make an impact in a growing organisation; and,
  • Defined Benefit experience highly regarded.
Essential skills a qualifications include:
  • ADF and RG146 qualification (minimum)
  • Computer literacy – MS Excel & Word (Intermediate to Advanced level)
  • Solid experience using Xplan, including Xtools+ (essential)
