About The Role:

Hive Empire Ventures, the sister company to finder, the leading comparison site in Australia, and growing worldwide, is seeking an expert Cryptocurrency Sales Trader with an awesome business sense who can develop and foster key relationships with institutions high-net-worth customers and businesses in the cryptocurrency space.

HiveEx.com is Hive Empire Ventures’ flagship brand and runs an over-the-counter (OTC) desk for trading large amounts of cryptocurrency around the world. It also operates HiveSpend, a platform for consumers to pay their Australian household bills with cryptocurrency.

Hive Empire Ventures is all about finding massive new opportunities in a number of digital markets, particularly in cryptocurrency, and owning it. We move fast and need sales and traders on our OTC desk who can move fast with us.

You will be responsible for finding new high net worth customers for HiveEx in the cryptocurrency space, signing them onto our platform and facilitating their cryptocurrency trades.  

You’ll be working directly with the CEO, Business Manager, Designer & Developers to help shape products and offerings for our customers.


Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Get a Google-load of cryptocurrency trades from customers with HiveEx.
  • The ability to build rapport and credibility with key stakeholders and end customers - hold strategic and ‘knowledge-based’ discussions with customers to structure appropriate solutions
  • Identifying both cross and up-sell opportunities and to achieve revenue/growth targets
  • A motivated and proactive approach to drive new business activity
  • Review reported crypto relevant economic and financial data and act as a source of cryptocurrency knowledge, information and expertise for clients to trade upon
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the cryptocurrency exchange market to provide relevant market information and strategies to clients
  • Manage stakeholders and deals across various time zones on a global scale
  • Be a key influencer to the customer-facing parts of the wider business
  • Leverage existing business networks to grow the portfolio
  • Go above and beyond to ensure the business success of HiveEx

Skills & Experience:

  • A proven track record in new business development /FX/Trading & Sales
  • Strong knowledge of the cryptocurrency and blockchain world
  • Ability to adapt and help out across the business when needed
  • Excellent people skills
  • The ability to look into the wider market and find market gaps we can capitalise on
  • Be able to think like a customer, and contribute to products that provide an amazing user experience
  • Experience of selling within and across various cryptocurrency markets
  • A real passion for cryptocurrency, perhaps you’re an investor yourself
