What will I be doing?
You'll be working with a high performing BI team who are passionate about enabling the business through data story-telling.
The team are currently engaged with the early stages of a greenfield project to build a data warehouse, tabular models, and Power BI dashboards covering the entirety of the organisation.
It's a small team, so the job includes a bit of everything – this isn't the definitive list, but among other work you will:
- Develop and extend data models and dashboards using the MSBI stack, with an emphasis on delivering insightful dashboards, metrics and stories to our internal customers
- Work with business stakeholders to expand on user stories, develop requirements, and deliver performance and ad hoc reporting
- Maintain and manage the end to end report development process within agreed service levels
- Maintain and extend the existing BI infrastructure and platform to support BI services and capability
The BI team is a very important part of achieving Vision Super's goals as we look to consolidate our growth.
What are the essential qualifications?
We're looking for someone:
- Who has 3 - 5 years’ industry experience in a BI role
- Who has demonstrated extensive experience working on the MSBI Stack (particularly Power BI, DAX and SSAS)
- Who can provide meaningful insights by designing and building dashboards and reports on Power BI.
- Proficient in stakeholder management and requirement gathering
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Who will pitch in, can work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Who will fit in with the team and with Vision Super's culture.
