About the opportunity
An opportunity has become available for a Junior Analyst to work with our Poultry business in Griffith, NSW. You will provide analysis of production and other business-related data with a view to identifying areas for improvement, and project management support to the National Manager, Poultry and Business Manager.

Reporting to the National Manager, you will be responsible to:

  • Provide analysis of husbandry reports, water quality testing, bird growing performance and support other key management areas, including data collection, development of analysis tools and provision of regular reporting to stakeholders.
  • Provide analysis and decision support to existing farming operations to assist with continuous improvement, profitability, projects and generally support sound decision making within these operations. 
  • Prepare proposals for consideration by senior management.
  • Manage various projects under the supervision of the National Manager and Business Manager, Poultry.
  • Provide research data as required.
  • Assist with water sampling and other field work as required.

What you will need to be successful
You will have proven analytical ability combined with strong numeracy and research skills.  You will also possess strong written and oral communication skills and have good organisational skills.  You will be self-motivated, have an inquisitive and questioning nature, be reliable, hardworking, and work well, both individually and as part of a small team.  Ideally, you will have tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as business, commerce, or agriculture. Previous experience working in an analytical capacity is preferred.  These qualities will ensure your success in this role.

On offer for the successful candidate is a competitive market salary dependent on experience and qualifications.  The position is a fixed term role, initially for 12 months, with a view to permanency.
