Our client based in Newcastle, offers business finance solutions to local and national businesses throughout Australia. Due to workload and continual growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Credit Analyst to join their head office.

As a Commercial Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for assessing the financial risk and recommending approvals on commercial credit applications. It is crucial that you can understand and analyse financial information such as balance sheets and bank statements to make well informed decisions.

Your key responsibilities:

• Management of loan applications through the assessment stages;
• Proactive risk management to meet all regulatory and compliance requirements;
• Preparing Credit Applications for Senior Management
• Analyse and understand Profit & Loss, Bank statements and other financial information;
• Conduct in-depth credit checks on potential clients;
• Maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you will have strong administration skills and previous experience within finance eg.  bookkeeping, finance broking or banking. You will possess excellent communication and analysis skills and be confident to manage relationships and make commercially sound decisions.
