Our client is a leading international financial services provider that has achieved substantial growth over the last few years and is aiming to expand rapidly again over the coming years.  They have a long history of providing cutting edge and innovative banking, finance and funds management services to the Australian market.   With a new and highly respected senior management team the foundations for a long term future are being laid and this role is a key part of those foundations.

Reporting to the Head of Middle Office & Managed Funds this is a senior and strategic role that plays an integral part in migrating their existing client base on to their global Middle Office operating model, in the ongoing product and sales support of the global strategic operating model and the continuous interrogation and education of our onshore and offshore operational capabilities.
 
Key Responsibilities will be:  
  • Global operating model SME, including an end-to-end view of the model
  • Operational SME in the migration of our local client base to the global operating model
  • Work with the local lead across the global Middle Office operating model
  • Executive engagement and stakeholder management across multiple projects and initiatives
  • Lead Middle Office sales pitches
  • Develop a strong awareness of our global Middle Office data services offering, both existing and next generation
  • Broaden and deepen the knowledge of our local MO account management team to ensure a strong understanding of both our products and our clients
  • Ensure that the Australian operations remain in alignment with the global strategic operating model, before and after migration, which may include remediation of current local processes
  • Develop a strong network across BP2S globally, particularly across ISA, Product and Client Development
  • Promote best of breed practices within the global operating model by assisting in the design of a robust change control framework, an optimal hub/spoke model and thought leadership culture

To be successful in your application you will need a minimum of 10 years financial services experience with at least two years in a senior management role within middle office for an investment bank, funds manager or custodian.  You will also need to be able to demonstrate strong Project Management skills.
