The Role

The Compliance Officer is responsible for conducting contract and compliance audits for all Employment Services activities within the jobactive, Work for the Dole, Transition to Work and ParentsNext contracts.  You will be required to undertake regular, ongoing reviews of processes to ensure compliance with contractual obligation and claims processing of site outcomes to ensure the effective and efficient operation of Communicare’s Employment Services.  The role does require the need to travel to various offices in the metropolitan area (Communicare pool cars are bookable).

Skills and Experience

To be successful for this position, you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Jobactive experience essential.
  • Previous experience in compliance practices, principles and procedures preferred.
  • A demonstrated ability in applying strategies to comply with contractual obligations, industry regulations and organisational requirements.
  • Highly developed verbal, written and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with staff at all levels.
  • Ability to coach and train staff on the correct way to undertake tasks to be compliant with contract requirements.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with an emphasis on detail.
  • Strong time management, administrative, organisational and presentation skills.
  • Experience in change management and the ability to work with contract and compliance obligations.
  • The ability to work autonomously (be self-motivated and demonstrate initiative) and be performance driven.
