Great opportunity to be involved with an experienced relationship management team at a growing time, to build, and execute account strategies with existing and potential employers, and Chartered Accountants in Practice. Essential components of the role are to provide strategic relationship management and engagement whilst creating awareness around member services, support and products with the key focus being member centricity. This role is heavily weighted towards account management and delivering relationship value to your members. You will also develop commercial pipelines, meet revenue targets and effectively manage a diverse membership.

Reporting to the General Manager Practice Sector, we are looking for a proactive and driven Account Manager within our Practice Segment with experience developing and delivering portfolio and territory plans, strategic account plans, stakeholder coverage and visitation plans. You will be responsible for developing and growing growth targets, achieving performance based KPI’s and creating and maintaining fantastic relationships with new and existing members, employers and other third parties. Strong understanding of the Practice Segment and the environment in which it operates will be key to the role.

Based in Melbourne, this role will focus on consistently delivering member satisfaction, business development growth and strategic solution sales results. You will be able to successfully:

    • Lead and provide strategic direction for nominated and new accounts
    • Identify opportunities to grow revenue-generating relationships with clients
    • Manage and deliver on sales targets by growing portfolio and account plans
    • Drive market activity via a consistent and effective engagement plan
    • Play a proactive role in the after sales process by managing campaign success
    • Up-sell and cross-sell on key accounts in order to develop new business avenues
    • Participate in external events and social engagements to build our presence in market
    • Single point of contact to mitigate risk and resolve any service issues within account portfolio
    • Collaborate with stakeholders and regional teams to generate innovative ideas to effectively position CA ANZ products and solutions in a competitive market.
    • Focus on B2B and B2C engagement with local councils, advisory groups and other committees to increase revenue and manage member satisfaction.
    • Communicate product offerings and value proposition to clients in a highly engaging manner

 

About you:

Proven experience in:

  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications and or 7+ years’ experience within Practice Segment and a Chartered Accounting qualification will be highly regarded.
  • Strategy development and execution for desired organisational outcomes
  • Customer insight skills, strong relationship management skills and negotiation skills
  • Highly networked, commercial acumen and respected by members and business community
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, ability to coach team members to achieve KPI’s
  • Experience working in a customer facing team to deliver consistent brand experience
  • Confident communicator and has excellent interpersonal skills.
