We currently have a rewarding opportunity for a motivated Financial Advisor to join our highly successful  & growing business focussed on providing clients with best practice, holistic financial planning services. 

The role:

Reporting to the Director, this role would best suit someone who is an experienced professional, who accepts responsibility and works with a high level of independence and initiative.

Duties include:

• Drive and manage the growth of Sherrin Partners book of clients.  

• Develop and implement sales and business development plans to engage clients and strategic partners.

• Manage allocated client portfolio including initiating contact with prospective clients, facilitating face to face meetings and delivering client relationship activities

• Understand your client’s immediate and long term needs and assist them in making informed decisions

• Maintain ongoing client and prospective client relationships

Skills and experience:

• Degree qualified,  must have PS 146 

• A minimum 2-3 years previous experience as a Financial Advisor in the financial planning industry

• A solid track record of achieving set sales targets

• The  ability to  identify potential business  and convert to clients

• High level knowledge and understanding of estate planning,  life insurance, superannuation and investments would be advantageous 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong work ethic, displays initiative, focus on compliance, discretion and responsibility

• Advanced knowledge and competency in Microsoft Office – primarily Word, Outlook and Excel as well as high proficiency in Xplan or similar CRM database would be beneficial

• High attention to detail and ability to operate autonomously
