My client is a sophisticated well established and highly successful private client advisory firm and currently due to natural growth an exciting and highly rewarding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paraplanner wanting to progress their career and/or experienced Associate Advisor to join the team based in the Chatswood offices on a permanent basis.

Your role will involve researching, developing and implementing investment strategies for clients. Primarily working closely with successful Private Client Advisers, to meet their clients' needs by supporting them in the day to day advice responsibilities.

Key duties include:

• Maintain and nurture existing client base
• Provide back up to Private Client Advisors client base when required
• Service existing clients within the firms service standards based on their ongoing agreement
• Conduct initial and fact find meetings
• Prepare client strategy and research
• Maintain communication with client throughout the process
• Build and maintain client relationships
• Provide detailed and accurate research and calculations for Advisers clients
• Develop strategies for clients that meet both the client needs and goals
• When required implementation of advice strategies on platforms
• Maintain a high level of compliance to ASIC guidelines as outlined within the Professional Standards Manual\
• Develop and maintain a knowledge of platforms, products and services 
• Ensure appropriate and timely follow-up with clients 
• Take ownership of tasks and follow through to completion

To be considered for this role you will have ideally:

• Proven Paraplanning/Associate Advisor experience wanting to make the next step
• DFP Qualified and ideally ADFS qualified 
• Tertiary qualifications preferred
• Xplan or COIN experience a bonus
• Solid communication skills
