The Role
We are looking for an individual to utilise their technical, strategic and compliance knowledge, whilst building on your management experience. Our complex plans & strategies are the lifeblood of our business, and we need a qualify person to produce quality plans

Main duties of the role are as follows:

  • SOA and ROA creation across a number of areas including SMSF, retirement, investment, risk and tax planning
  • Undertaking strategic analysis and financial modelling
  • Provision of technical and compliance guidance to the wider team as they arise
  • Contributing to developing & refining plan production processes
  • Establishing reliable and effective relationships with advisers and other key stakeholders
  • Managing workflow and adviser expectations
  • Liaising with planner & support staff to understand strategy
  • Following up clients for outstanding information
  • Review client files in preparation of review appointment, including cash flow analysis and retirement planning analysis
  • Managing the annual audit process to ensure good outcomes
  • Completing research to produce compliant plans
  • Support Financial Advisers with the implementation of financial strategy and provide technical input


About You
To be successful in this role you will be positive and enthusiastic in nature with a desire to provide coaching and a supportive environment to your team. You will also have:

  • Degree in a relevant financial discipline preferable
  • Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning
  • Minimum 2 years operational experience in Paraplanning and experience in a management capacity
  • Strong foundations in technical knowledge and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and exceptional organisational skills
  • High level written and communication skills
  • Willing to be a fantastic team player, with an excellent attitude toward the role.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the current Industry Compliance standards
  • Good time management skills 
  • Very Tech-savvy - MidWinter experience preferred
