To support the growth of the business, we have an opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join the team based in Brisbane.

You will be responsible for developing, driving, maintaining and managing business growth of a portfolio of Mortgage Brokers in the Mortgage Broking channel. You will work closely, engaging with our Aggregator Business Partners and managing successful strategies to achieve profitable outcomes.

You will capitalise on in-depth Mortgage Broker knowledge to proactively manage a third party introducer portfolio to achieve agreed targets. You will be able to deepen and drive existing introducer relationships with the view of optimising sales and portfolio growth, whilst ensuring that all risk, compliance and audit requirements are met, including training and accreditation.

You will ideally have strong experience in a business development / sales role within Mortgage Broking with an established portfolio and network of Mortgage Brokers.

This role would ideally suit a mid-career professional with a strong working background within the financial industry with Mortgage credit assessment and strong business development at a B2B level experience underpinned by formal Finance/ Commerce/ Accounting or related qualifications. Previous experience in a customer facing or sales role would be highly desirable along with thorough knowledge of residential lending procedures and practices.

To be successful in this role it is essential that you have the ability to  build effective relationships with key decision makers internal and have a thorough working knowledge of the Mortgage Broker industry, including, but not limited to, the key players, associated products and services is essential.
