Aston Carter is partnering with a market leader in the Funds Management and Financial Markets industries, boasting an unparalleled client base in the Australian market. The brand is immediately recognisable and is in the middle of a significant growth phase resulting in a number of new Project and Programme delivery roles.
The Program Manager Investment Operations will be entrusted with full oversight and management of a range of key strategic business initiatives. The Program Manager will initially be required to oversee a significant group wide change programme before partnering with the Head of Transformation & Change to establish a high performing PMO. Key responsibilities of the role include;
- Leadership over the design, strategic planning and implementation of the groups Enterprise PMO,
- Ownership over the delivery of a portfolio of key interconnected 2018/19 business initiatives (including investment, operations and business development projects),
- Build effective working relationships across the business, from Team members through to the Executive Committee
- Chairing the PMO and various Project Steering Committees,
- Senior level business partnering and stakeholder management both internally and externally,
- Provision of advice and strategic input for BAU operations, centred around efficiencies, process improvement and obtainment of operational excellence and governance,
- Direct management of a team of 3 Project Managers, flowing into a broader team of 15-20,
- Project and Program budget management and ownership.
To be successful in the role you will have an extensive career (10+ years) in Banking, Funds Management or Investment Management. A wealth of Program and Project Management experience is critical. Finance and Business related tertiary educations are advantageous, as are Project Management certifications.
