Overview
Huxley’s banking client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join an existing project and lead new projects in the pipeline in the new financial year.
What they are looking for is someone who is experienced in Agile and waterfall, also has project management qualifications such as prince2
You will be responsible for planning, leading, organising, and motivating your cross-functional team to achieve a high level of performance and quality.
Location: Brisbane CBD
Contract: 6 months day rate
Role
- Communicate and report project activities, timelines, impacts and implications to project team members, stakeholders and staff.
- Managing large projects and programs of work to achieve the program/project's objectives and business benefits.
- Effectively managing relationships and communications with project stakeholders, including customers and delivery teams.
- Balance schedule, cost and quality in reaching decisions relating to project delivery.
- Manage and report project expenditures and benefits realisation.
- Track and manage project activities and deliverables to achieve agreed outcomes and identify and develop mitigation strategies to manage project interdependencies.
About you:
- Previous experience managing large, complex projects in a banking environment
- Experience managing both business and technology projects end to end
- Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant industry certification (Prince2 etc.)
- Strong knowledge across the whole project lifecycle (scope control, estimate, budget, delivery etc.).
- Experience with change management.
