This company is currently seeking a Settlements Officer to join their award winning Asset Finance team.
Your new role
Within this role you will be completing loan settlements, ensuring that all aspects of the loan and documentation comply with legislative requirements, credit approval conditions and company policies. You will ensure loan documents and guarantees are complete, unaltered and appropriately executed and all approval conditions have been met. You will identify and rectify any anomalies relating to policies and legislation including NCCP, AML/CTF, Privacy Act and PPSR. Once a deal’s compliance is verified, you will also be responsible for accurately disbursing the funds
What you'll need to succeed
This job would be perfect for recent finance graduate with ideally 6-12 months’ operations or support experience in a bank or finance role, or a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a Settlements role within the Finance Industry. An in-depth knowledge of the Regulatory environment is also preferable. You will also need to be able to understand and utilise systems and processes for credit and operational risk assessment. You will require exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, provide excellent customer service, work well independently and have strong time-management abilities.
