We are seeking a Mortgage Broker Support Officer who will work constructively with the Astute team and be dedicated to delivering exceptional service that supports the needs and goals of our clients.

The successful applicant for this role will require:

• Demonstrated understanding and experience in the end to end mortgage process, from  application through to settlement and ongoing client relationship management.
• Strong attention to detail and proven data entry ability, with specific focus on ensuring that data entered is clean, accurate and kept up to date.
• The proven ability to process loan applications and liaise with key stakeholders to ensure that loan documentation is accurate, compliant and processed in a timely manner.
• The ability to check accuracy and completeness of application information to ensure compliance with relevant credit policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

• Demonstrated customer service focus and the ability to act as a first contact for operational questions from both internal and external stakeholders.
• The proven ability to analyse and compile reports on both a regular and adhoc basis as requested.
• The ability to proactively assist with a variety of business projects.

The essential criteria for this role are:

• At least 3+ years’ experience in end to end mortgage processing.
• Excellent understanding of loan administration processes from application through to settlement.
• Strong understanding of mortgage credit policies and processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong Computer Literacy, particularly in relation to using Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
