This unique position sits within the highly regarded Investment Strategy team who are responsible for leading research based projects, and representing the organisation at high profile internal and external events on a wide variety of topics relating to portfolio construction, asset allocation, investment strategies and global market trends.
  
Reporting to the Head of Investment Strategy you will focus specifically within the Intermediary client market and be responsible for the following:

• Perform ongoing research and other thought leadership to enhance the Group’s relationship with the intermediary fee for service market;
• Analyse complex global investment issues by performing quantitative and qualitative analysis on investment industry trends. The topics would primarily focus on the practical application of fee for service financial advice, practice management, and behavioural coaching;
• Demonstrate foresight by initiating research projects that will be viewed internally and externally as enhancing the Group’s role as an investment leader;
• Prepare written and statistical analysis as needed for clients, prospects, senior management and the media;
• Work closely with Independent Financial Advisors (IFA’s), effectively acting as a mentor or coach to help build and implement tools, uplift investment advice capability and ultimately help bridge the gap in the delivery of best practice financial advice;
• Represent the Group externally at intermediary specific events, delivering insights on the changing nature of financial advice and other investment strategies;
• Form part of a global team responsible for establishing and maintaining a coordinated global investment strategy and research effort. 

Post-graduate degree qualified (CFA/CFP preferred), you are a seasoned and highly competent investments professional with demonstrated prior experience as a Financial Advisor, preferably in the fee for service community where you have “walked in their shoes” and have a deep passion for the delivery of best in class financial advice.  Experience in the investment, asset management and consulting fields will also be considered.
  
You have highly developed written and oral communication and presentation skills, combined with your ability to collaborate and translate complex issues to multiple stakeholders, both internal and external.
