What's the role?
An exciting opportunity to join the team at Mildura which consists of the 3 Agribusiness Manager's, and 2 Analyst's. The region of Mildura is known for its dried vine fruit, table and wine grapes, citrus and nuts to name a few – these industries have been in expansionary mode for the past couple of years given opportunities in new export markets Using your business development and relationship management skills, you will provide financial advisory services, fully integrated financial solutions and risk management for customers. You will ensure success through understanding our client's unique businesses, communicating effectively, making timely decisions, utilising your strong commercial acumen and driving innovation and continuous improvement. This is a strong performing portfolio, with endless opportunities for a motivated Manager to succeed.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced banking professional with relevant tertiary qualifications or further study in agriculture. Your passion for agribusiness and farm management practices will ensure your success in managing and growing a portfolio of agribusiness clients. You will have the opportunity to progress your career to the next level within this highly successful Agribusiness team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Generating business growth opportunities through existing and prospect customer relationships
- Utilising your networks within pre-farm gate and post-farm gate local markets
- Maintaining and enhancing the credit risk profile and profitability of the portfolio
- Developing and improving professional excellence through management of individual and team performance
- Coaching support staff where applicable
