A blue chip financial services organisation are searching for a Manager to join their Group Operational Risk team to take the lead on the revamp of their Risk Management Framework. 

The role is a pure 2nd Line of Defence position where liaison with the business and helping to refresh and implement the Risk Management Framework will be the key deliverable.

The role is suitable for someone who has worked in a 2nd Line Operational Risk position within financial services - building, maintaining and implementing frameworks. 

You Will:

• Recommend changes to the Operational Risk Management Framework
• Lead annual reviews into the frameworks and documentation
• Understand the changing regulatory landscape and how that impacts on the Group Risk Framework
• Liaise extensively with stakeholders and be responsible for Board Reporting
• Work with senior management to identify risks and help recommend, implement and lead initiaticves with respect to Operational Risk

You Will Have:

• Experience in Operational Risk Management in financial services
• Outstanding understanding of how to embed a framework in the 1st line
• Understand the regulatory landscape in Australia and abroad
• Outstanding Stakeholder Management and Influencing skills
