A tier one banking client are looking for a Senior Manager to join their Group Compliance team . The group compliance division provides advice, governance and frameworks to the business in order for it to comply with local regulations and laws.
The role will be responsible for building, implementing and maintaining a policy and training framework, in order to support and maintain the companies compliance policies and provide effective implementation of the framework.
This role would be ideally suited to someone coming from a financial services background in banking/asset management/insurance or consultancy with experience in compliance framework building and implementation.
You Will:
- Support the group compliance team in developing, implementing and enhancing the compliance policy and training framework
- Support the group compliance team with internal reporting on policies, training and other compliance matters
- Regularly review and update the compliance policies
- Support compliance systems and processes within the Compliance framework
- Develop an effective compliance training programme
- Support the maintenance of the Groups Obligations Registers
You Will Have:
- Experience in working within the Australian financial services industry in a compliance focused position
- Strong understanding of relevant regulations from ASIC and APRA and legislative requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders effectively
- Ability to manage change effectively
