• Max Term Contract – 12 months

• Sydney CBD location

We are looking for a Wealth Analyst to actively manage the forecasting and performance of the Wealth business against their strategic plan and budget, and to clearly articulate the financial implications of business related matters and work with the business to influence the outcome to ensure decisions are value creating. This exciting role also involves providing financial information to internal stakeholders which clearly articulate the financial implications of the information and provides insights into how the business can optimise the outcome.

 Key responsibilities:    

• Building strong relationships with stakeholders by creating trust and a deep understanding of their business
• Undertaking financial analysis and interpretation of the performance of the Wealth business as directed
• Building and/or maintaining budgeting and forecasting tools for the business
• Proactively identifying critical business issues early enabling swift intervention
• Preparing financial inputs for management reporting on allocated portfolios through the co-ordination and consolidation of required information for monthly and quarterly reporting (MPR, QPR, Analyst Pack and other documents)
• Providing commentary on relevant financial and non-financial information which helps the business understand what the information means and what opportunities exist to optimise value.

 Qualification:

• A relevant undergraduate qualifications eg Commerce, Finance, Accounting or Economics

Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years’ experience in a management accounting or financial reporting with in Financial Services
• Experience within Superannuation or Wealth Management Accounting
• Developed analytical and quantitative skills
• The ability to investigate, analyse and report on current market issues and the implications such as changes in regulatory requirements, new activities, product development etc
• Developed knowledge of financial risk management concepts
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
