The company
My client is a global professional services firm with offices in the Melbourne CBD. Due to continued growth, their Corporate Finance team is looking to add another member to the team to help execute on a strong, growing pipeline of corporate finance projects.
The team generally focus on transactions of up to $150m EV but the management team have experience in closing multiple billion dollar deals.
The opportunity
In this role you'll have the opportunity to broaden your skills by working across; mergers & acquisitions, capital advisory, IPOs, valuations and due diligence assignments.
Day-to-day you'll assist the directors in; managing an M&A process from start to finish, getting businesses IPO ready and listings, conducting company and sector research, valuing businesses and assets, detailed due diligence and liaising with external stakeholders including; private equity professionals, investment bankers and lawyers.
You'll assist clients within a broad variety of industries including; Manufacturing, Technology, Biotechnology, Healthcare, Education, Solar and Finance.
About you
The ideal candidate will have; 2-3 (for a Senior Analyst) 4-6 (for a Manager) years experience gained in a professional services firm, either within Auditing, Business Services, Transaction Services, Corporate Finance or a combination. You will be degree qualified and have a CA or CPA. You'll have strong commercial acumen and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
