Downer's Road Services business unit is one of the largest non-government owned road services businesses in Australia. Downer continues to be an innovator in the sustainable asphalt industry, running plants that use recyclable products and environmentally sustainable methods.

We are seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our collaborative, high performing team.  Based in Somerton, this pivotal role will actively identify, drive and manage national and local business improvements within the Roads Business.  You will be working on a number of diverse, interesting projects where your self-driven approach and ability to work autonomously will be valued.

You will possess tertiary qualifications in Business, Engineering or a relevant discipline and sound experience in: 

• 3-5 years’ experience ideally gained within the Construction Industry

• Researching, sourcing and collating information
• Presenting complex information and the ability to tailor presentations to a diverse workforce
• Ability to contribute to the development of financial budgets and business planning process
• Experience in researching and understanding complex information to develop and implement business improvement solutions
• Demonstrated ability to analyse financial information
• Proficient project planning, organisational and time management skills
• Basic understanding of regulations and legislation applied to the civil construction industry is desirable but not essential
• Strong safety focus - actively participate in and support Downer Zero Harm initiatives and strategies
