The Credit Risk Analyst is responsible for evaluating, managing and monitoring the credit risk exposure for the relevant country/business to support delivery of business goals through optimisation of the balance between credit risk and reward.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide recommendation’s, risk assessments on new applications & scheduled reviews (key, premium accounts) through the analysis of financial information and related credit agency supplied information, e.g Cash flow statements, profit & loss balance sheet.
- Ensure a high level of customer responsiveness to all internal and external customers is maintained by adhering to all service level agreements and key performance targets
- Ensure that timely and accurate reports are maintained in relation to management of credit
- Act as a centre of expertise in relation to management and mitigation of high risk accounts and account assessment
- Compliance with Group Credit Standard
- Recommend and facilities, for the ongoing administration of the Relationship Team, appropriate payment plans for customers, including monitoring & reporting on progress.
You will have the following skills:
- Previous experience as a credit risk analyst
- Experience in banking or fuel industry is highly regarded
- Demonstrable experience in credit assessment and security management in a credit related field, including debt management required.
- A working knowledge of appropriate credit legislation including working knowledge of Liquidation’s, Administrations, Deeds of Company Arrangement etc.
- Ability to read and interpret key financial statements(balance sheet, profit & loss account and cash flow statements)
- Financial analysis and risk assessment skills
- Exposure to large end customers in a credit risk environment
