We're Qudos Bank. Previously known as Qantas Credit Union, we've been in banking for over 55 years with a full range of retail banking products including credit cards, home loans, personal loans and saving accounts.

We are looking for a customer focused Loans Support Officer to join our Lending Operations Team on a 12 month contract. Based in our Head Office, the successful candidate will enrich the customer service experience of our members whilst performing quality lending operations.

The role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete personal loan and home loan maintenance and variation activities as per members requests
• Action exception reporting and report deficiencies to management
• Managing work inflow and assigning new deals to the retail banking network.
• Managing e-mails coming into Lending Operations, ensuring they are either actioned or assigned as required, responding to the members as needed within set service level.
• Complaints management ensuring members concerns are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
• Maintaining and actioning items within the exception reports, reporting unusual or unexplained issues to management.
• Following up of insurance due report as required
• Prepare mortgage packs to be sent to solicitors, or loan contracts to be sent to the branch network or members directly.
• Complete quality assurance checking of mortgage packs and loan contracts ensuring all appropriate information is disclosed accurately including security details, rates, fees and charges.
• Distributing all incoming mail for the Lending Operations Team
• Maintaining and updating personal knowledge on any policy, interest rates, products or regulatory changes
• Providing accurate information to members in relation to lending products and services
• Ensure VEDA ID, Australia Post ID & Zip ID processes are followed accurately and ensure full compliance with ID requirements
• Accurate and timely data entry for internet banking and broker network application submissions.
• Order valuation reports for broker loans when required
• Arranging closure of accounts as needed
• Any ad hoc activities as instructed by Team Leader Loan Support or Lending Manager

 

The successful candidate:

You will have a minimum of 1 years' experience in a customer service role within the banking & financial services sector. They will have strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as complaints resolution experience.
