About the role
The Senior Analyst, Technology & Operations role will support the CRO Technology & Operations to embed the application of AMP’s ERM framework across Technology & Operations. It requires close liaison with key stakeholders, working closely with business representatives and managing risks to the business.
In respect of AMP’s IT ERM framework, Senior Analyst, Technology & Operations will be responsible for interpreting and applying the framework across Technology & Operations through the following core deliverables:
- Risk reporting (to a board level)
- CSA Reporting and Matrix Control
- Incident and breach management reporting, including risk appetite statements
- Strategic projects and change risk advice
- Framework consultancy
- Scenario planning and stress testing
- Deep dive risk reviews
Skills & experience
- Relevant experience and a proven track record in a risk management, compliance, internal / external audit or assurance role, with experience in financial services an advantage
- Strong understanding of the financial services industry, relevant regulators (e.g. ASIC and APRA), and current and proposed financial services regulatory and legislative requirements
- Proven ability to understand operational and compliance risks inherent or emerging in a business area, to assess the level of risk, and to develop and execute plans to mitigate risk
- Ability to implement, monitor and report on risk management and compliance frameworks, risks and incidents across multiple businesses
- Ability to think laterally, strategically and constructively challenge. You will need to manage change, maintain relationships and negotiate, as well as having sound planning and implementation skills.
