This is a Two Year Maximum Term Contract subject to review for an on-going basis after the contract period.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Build strong relationships with regulatory bodies (e.g. APRA) and liaise with federal ans state governments or departments
- Actively participate in regulatory meetings, audits/reviews and external events to ensure key objectives of activities are met
- Establish and update risk appetite and metrics (i.e. Risk Appetite Statement & Risk Management Strategy) and perform annual Risk Management Declaration under CPS 220 requirements
- Prepare presentation slides and materials based on the inputs from key stakeholders and drive outcomes
- Update key stakeholders about the latest regulatory development/changes and provide timely analysis in broader sense for management's decision making
Required skills, experience and attributes:
- 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably banking or professional services
- Relevant experience in prudential supervision from regulatory bodies or in regulatory compliance from financial institutions
